Ages 7 to 12 years old.
Join University of Waterloo scientists to learn about the upcoming total solar eclipse. On Monday, April 8 we will experience a total solar eclipse as the moon's shadow crosses earth in the late afternoon. During this March Break program, we’ll have activities to discover why it’s happening, what can we expect, and how you can protect your eyes while viewing this incredible experience. There will also be one free pair of eclipse viewing glasses for each participant.
For children ages 7 to 12. Please register each child attending.
This program is also being offered at the McCormick Branch on Tuesday March 12 and the activities will be the same. Please register for only one program.
Please note, a caregiver must remain in the library while children under 10 years of age attend a program.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.
