About the Program
Join us for a monthly gathering in January and February to connect with new friends, engage in conversation, and enjoy staff-led activities. Open to all community members, each session features a unique theme.
January 2025’s gathering includes:
- A warm welcome and introductions
- An overview of library services
- A fitness session featuring Baduanjin
- An introduction to the Spring Festival
- A preview of February’s club theme
All adults or older adults are welcome who would like to learn Chinese language and Chinese culture.
There is a club meeting taking place in January and February, please register for each separately.

Located on the west side of Waterloo, the John M. Harper Branch shares a building with the Stork Family YMCA. It features soaring ceilings, dedicated study space (including 3 bookable study rooms), a large Community Room and an outdoor courtyard.
