About the Author

Kristen Ciccarelli grew up on a grape farm, dropped out of college, and worked various jobs before becoming an author. Some of her previous trades included: baker, potter, L’Arche assistant, and community bread oven coordinator. Kristen lives in Canada’s Niagara Peninsula with her husband and daughter. She is the New York Times bestselling author of Heartless Hunter, Edgewood and the Iskari series.

About the Moderator

Kayleigh Platz is a lifetime writer and avid reader. Kayleigh is co-creator of Romance by the Book, a virtual book club and blog for lovers of happy endings. She has partnered with libraries and bookstores to host author interviews and panels. She’s been honoured to chat with Tessa Bailey, Christina Lauren, Kathy Reichs and many other women’s fiction, romance and suspense authors over the past few years. Her writing has appeared on tech blogs, in her local newspaper and her university's alumni magazine. In her spare time she can be found reading, knitting and picking up heavy weights and putting them back down again.
