For teens ages 13 to 18 years old.
Zines have long been a powerful tool for Queer folx to share messages, resources, art, and community care — especially during times of hardship and government neglect, such as the AIDS crisis — while also making space to celebrate joy, identity, and connection. In this creative, drop-in session, you’ll use library supplies to design your own shareable “info-art” zine. Whether you want to educate, uplift, or express yourself, creating and sharing zines is an act of resistance against oppression — and a meaningful way to make your voice heard.
This is a drop-in program for teens ages 13 to 18 years old.
