in partnership with the City of Waterloo Museum

For Families

About the Program

Uncover local history and cozy up for story time at The Wayback Winter Cabin! The City of Waterloo Museum and Waterloo Public Library are thrilled to partner this holiday season to bring Waterloo Park’s winter sporting past to life. Drop in to explore some vintage sports gear, crafts for the kids, and gather around as library staff share magical winter sports stories. It is a fantastic, free activity for the whole family before you head out to enjoy the Wonders of Winter light display.

For families with children of all ages.

This special event is part of the Wonders of Winter festival and presented in partnership with the City of Waterloo Museum. As Waterloo Park transforms into a dazzling display of lights, families are invited to stop by the log cabin for a cozy storytime and creative activity celebrating the magic of winter.
