WPL is pleased to be participating in this year's Global Migration Film Festival, in partnership with the Immigration Partnership of Waterloo Region (November 28-December 18). Presented in over 100 countries annually, The Global Migration Film Festival showcases films that capture the promise and challenges of migration.

Join us for a screening of Brothers in the Buddha, the story of Michael, a seventeen year old Vietnamese Canadian youth who takes up the monastic discipline at a monastery in the heart of the Canadian city of Edmonton. We will be joined after for a discussion with filmmaker Beth Wishart MacKenzie.

Registrants will receive an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the program with an invitation to join.
