In this STEM camp, participants will have the opportunity to explore various concepts like circuity, Artificial Intelligence, genetics and chemistry through hands-on activities. They will learn about electricity and chemistry by etching patterns on steel, create funny creatures out of Play doh with the help of genetics, clean up the ocean using Machine Learning and finally, design and build a space shuttle using some principles of physics! For kids ages 10 to 12 years old.
This is a partner program with ESQ from the University of Waterloo.
Registrants will receive an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the program with an invitation to join.
A supply kit will be available for pick-up at the library one week before the event.
