IN PERSON
Taken from their families when they are very small and sent to a remote, church-run residential school, Kenny, Lucy, Clara, Howie and Maisie are barely out of childhood when they are finally released. Alone and without any skills, support or families, the teens find their way to Eastside Vancouver, where they strive to find a place of safety and belonging. Join us in person to discuss Five Little Indians by Michelle Good.
Registrants of in-person programs at the library will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and ID to participate in programs. Registrants will receive an email from the programmer in advance to explain our safety protocols for in person programming. All participants will be required to self screen for COVID-19 symptoms before participating and should not attend if they are feeling unwell.
