Award-winning journalist, Denise Davy has written many powerful investigative stories during her career, but few have been as memorable as the one written about Margaret Jacobson, a woman who lived much of her life on the streets. When Jacobson was in her teens she experienced significant mental health issues that continued throughout her life. As a result she experienced countless systemic barriers. Davy tells Margaret's story in her new book, Her Name Was Margaret.
In this event, Denise sits down with local professionals working with individuals experiencing homelessness for a conversation about how our systems need to improve. Please join us for this important conversation.
