Award-winning Canadian author, Jenny Heijun Wills, joins us to discuss her fascinating memoir, Older Sister. Not Necessarily Related. As an infant, Wills was adopted from Korea into a white family in small-town Canada. In her twenties, she reconnected with her birth family and traveled to meet her biological parents. The story explores gender, class, race and ethnic complexities through the lens of the authors experience. Wills shares the journey of writing this story, her writing process and what she has coming up next, in what is sure to be a memorable evening.
