World Wetlands Day (WWD) is an annual celebration in recognition of the vital role that wetlands play in supporting biodiversity and providing key ecosystem services. Each year, on February 2nd, the date when the Convention on Wetlands (Ramsar Convention) was adopted in 1971, WWD events take place all around the world. Join the Water Institute from the University of Waterloo for a fascinating conversation about how we can take actions to value, manage, restore and care for wetlands to protect them for people and nature.
Registrants will receive an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the program with an invitation to join.
