Did you know that 100 years ago, people weren’t allowed to buy alcohol? From 1916 to 1927, the sale of alcohol was banned in Ontario, but as you’ll learn on this walking tour, prohibition wasn’t all that successful in Waterloo Region. Learn all about bootlegging in Waterloo with this fun and engaging tour around Uptown Waterloo.

Participants will receive more information about the program by email (including the meeting point) prior to the date of the event. Be sure to dress for weather conditions and bring plenty of water.
