Ages 6 to 9 years old.
Encourage a love of reading with this fun, interactive literacy program hosted by our friends from United For Literacy. Participants will pair up with a volunteer literacy tutor for a guided reading session followed by language games and activities with the group.

For children ages 6 to 9 years (Grades 1 to 4). Please register each child attending.
Please note, a caregiver must remain in the library while children under 10 years of age attend a program.
This program is part of a series. There are 7 sessions taking place on Saturdays: February 3, 10, 24, March 2,16, 23, 30. No programs on February 17 and March 9.

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
