For families with children of all ages.
Participate in a community care project with author Lindsay Zier-Vogel. Lindsay is also the creator of The Love Letter Writing Project.
We will be kicking off the project with a reading of Lindsay’s debut picture book Dear Street, about a girl who shares her love for her neighbourhood. This child friendly story encourages mindfulness and gratitude and will be followed by crafts and activities.
As part of the community project we will be writing anonymous love letter to the places we live and hiding the letters around our community for strangers to find and enjoy. There will be community based activities to participate in as well.
The Love Lettering Project is an internationally acclaimed community art project created by Lindsay Zier-Vogel in 2004 that asks people to write anonymous love letters to the places they live, then hide those love notes for strangers to find, spreading the love.
Presented in partnership with Words Worth Books.
