Everyone welcome

Our McCormick Branch recently turned 50 years old and we are celebrating this golden anniversary! 

Join the party with crafts, live music, treats, giveaways and a free ice skate. Plus, you can take part in a community mural to tell us why the McCormick Branch is special to you.  

1:15pm to 2:00pm: Starlight Steel Band (Community Room)
2:00pm to 4:00pm: Free Skate (East Ice Rink) & Crafts/Activities (Community Room)

About the branch

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
