For teens ages 13 to 19 years old and their caregiver(s).
What skills and opportunities will shape the next generation of careers? Join us for an engaging evening designed for caregivers and teens to learn about emerging opportunities in AI, tech, and entrepreneurship. Hear from leaders across education, innovation, and the startup ecosystem about how young people can explore these fields and begin building real-world skills today. Parents and caregivers will gain insight into how to support their teen’s curiosity and future career interests, while students will discover opportunities to explore their ideas and projects through programs like the Youth Creativity Fund (YCF).
Through YCF, local youth can apply for microgrants of up to $1,000 to fund creative projects - whether that’s starting a small business, building a STEM project, exploring tech, or creating initiatives that connect people around shared interests.
Presented in partnership with Business and Education Partnership of Waterloo Region.
